Search Radius Field
The Search Radius (VT) field gives a listing its own coverage radius — how far this business travels, delivers, or serves. It's the input that powers Service Area Search.
On its own the field just stores a number. Enable Service Area Search to make it affect results.
Setup
- Go to Voxel Toolkit → Post Fields, enable Search Radius (VT)
- Go to Voxel → Post Types → (your type) → Fields and add the field
- Label it for your listing owners — "Service area", "Delivery radius", "How far we travel"

No "which field holds the radius" setting
Service Area Search locates this field by its field type. Add it under any key and it's picked up immediately — there's no second setting to keep in sync or get wrong.
Units
The unit — kilometres or miles — comes from the post type's own location settings, the same value Voxel's distance search uses. Set it once in Voxel and both agree.
Use the Suffix setting if you want the unit visible inside the input while owners type.
Where the value is used

The value is also available as a dynamic tag, so it can be shown on a card or in listing details — "We deliver within 15km".
Notes
- Leaving the field empty means the listing has no coverage limit, and it behaves exactly as it did before.
- A value of zero is treated the same as empty.
- Removing the field from a post type doesn't delete values already stored on existing posts.
