The badge says "Reviews" instead of my site name

Logo Alt Text has not been set. It is both the logo's alt text and the brand name printed on the badge, and it defaults to "Reviews". Set it under Embed Reviews — see Settings.

The badge says "No reviews yet"

The listing genuinely has no reviews, or Voxel has not written its score yet. Confirm the listing shows reviews on your own site first. Scores are cached for five minutes, so a brand-new review can take that long to appear.

An embedded badge shows nothing on the owner's site

Work through these in order:

1. Is the listing still published? Embeds only serve published, publicly visible listings. A listing moved to draft or private stops rendering until it is republished.
2. Is the plugin still active? Deactivating it stops the endpoint that feeds every badge.
3. Has the plugin folder been renamed? The script is served from it. Renaming breaks every embed already out there.
4. Was the snippet pasted whole? Both lines are needed — the div and the script tag. Some site builders strip script tags from ordinary content fields; the owner may need an HTML or embed block.

Listing owners can't find the Copy Embed Code button

It only appears to users who can edit that listing. Check that the owner is logged in, and that they actually have edit rights on the listing — on most Voxel sites they do for their own.

If it is missing for you as an administrator too, the badge is probably not rendering at all.

Star ratings aren't showing in Google

A few things to separate here.

Markup only goes on your own listing pages. A badge on an archive, a homepage, or an embed on somebody else's site publishes none — that is intentional, and explained in SEO & Structured Data.

An overridden rating publishes nothing. If the badge is showing a review average override, no markup is generated.

LocalBusiness needs an address to fully validate. If your listings are not businesses, or carry addresses this markup does not include, use the schema filters.

Rich results are never guaranteed. Valid markup makes a listing eligible. Google decides.

Test a specific listing URL with Google's Rich Results Test to see what it actually reads.

The badge looks wrong on someone else's site

The badge styles itself and ignores the host theme, so this is usually the host site's CSS reaching into it — a global img rule, or a link colour with !important. Ask the owner to check for site-wide styles targeting images or links in that region.

Settings changes aren't reaching embedded badges

They should be immediate — embed codes store a reference, not a copy. If a badge on another site is stale, it is that site's page cache or CDN holding an old response, not your settings.

A colour I set didn't save

Colour fields take hex values such as #FFD700. Anything unrecognised falls back to the default rather than saving, so the field will look reverted.
